Also probably to run into another girl who is trying to escape but if you help the wrong one they tie you up tighter or trick you all together and leave without you. Tell me what you think.
Reading these failstate suggestions, made me think. What if we could select an on/off option where if she fails to escape after a certain amount of time, she's captured again and placed in an inescapable situation, perhaps chairtied and stashed in one of the rooms. No knife to reach, no escape, just struggling in the ropes.
Well I've got to be honest, I personally prefer BN to this one. Although I like the concept of this game (look for thing to escape) and I did have fun with it, I found two problems with it.
The first is that there are no stakes, there's no failure state or anything to make tension, you just hope around until you find the knife/phone and after a while this became boring. The second is that the maps too big so after a while it became a chore to hope across.
I doubt there's anything that can be done about the size of the map but I was thinking, just like the bag in BN could you implement something like that in this game? Or maybe have some goons lurking around that you have to avoid? Of course if you do ether of these then please for the LOVE OF GOD PUT THE HINTS BACK ON. Even if you only limit them to three I feel that this will make it fare for new and old players, it would also aid in the later bits with the keys.
Alternatively have you considered making a room escape game? Where you could interact with objects to slowly untie yourself or somehow aid in your escape (i.e. get the coat hanger to reach the key to unlock the draw with the door key ect..ect.. similar to tripleQ's or Imoutoid escape games)?
Still a good game and I look forward to whatever comes next be it update or new game. And finally have you considered a patron page?
Good job. By the time I was half way through, I was getting a little tired, but the blindfolded levels brought some fun back.
On the final level, I worried that perhaps the phone&knife had somehow not spawned, but upon rechecking all the rooms again it turned out to be on the toilet in room 1. Go figure!
While I personally enjoyed the blindfold levels, I do agree with k9top113's suggestions for ways that extra hints could be given when things start getting tough, given the amount of time it takes to move around. Having limited uses of the "find phone" ability was good, but once the ability was completely taken away, things got a little tedious. (Though I do understand that it must be difficult to balance making a fun game while also giving the player the sense of helplessness that should rightfully come with playing a damsel in distress - it is true that in those final levels, while there was some tedium and frustration, the player does indeed also feel powerless and desperate, so perhaps that could be seen as a success.)
I also like justdpugh's suggestion of a game that combines the mechanics of this one and Bondage Nightmare, as I think the 'grounded' movement in BN is very impressive (though way too difficult). Perhaps something like starting on the floor and getting yourself up (either via a certain button input, or maybe by rolling to an environmental object or wall that the character could lean against), or occasionally needing to change from standing to lying down to avoid an enemy that is searching for you (for example, in this motel setting, needing to hide behind the office counter, or under a bed in a room).
The customization options were appreciated, and more options will always be welcomed in your games.
It was a bit disappointing to complete level 10 and simply be sent back to the main menu, I was hoping for an ending scene (if only a few images like the intro was) of the heroine being found by the police, or a new guest... or even the robbers coming back. ;)
Ultimately, while the game felt a bit padded and has some flaws, I don't regret my $6 and am looking forward to seeing what you come up with next.
For me, Motel Bondage is a game that is more interesting than Bondage Nightmare. I bought MB to play.But BN i didn't buy and will not buy it.

The game is automatically updated as the creator develops new content? or do you have to download it separately and manually? or once purchased, can you not get new updates?

I actually thought this was easier than bondage nightmare... up until the blindfold section- definitely challenging! I wish i could see a replay of my footage to see where i ended up cuz i definitely got lost at points. I think at one point i ended up behind the office. That being said the blindfold was my favorite part.

I also was thinking while playing this that it would be cool if there were a couple of the robbers milling about adding a stealth element. And what if every time you get caught they punish you by adding bonds and taking away clothing and what have you. So maybe you start off on your feet but when you get caught they tie you on the floor. So now you have to get from the floor to your feet and to the knife. but maybe they catch you again so now you have to get from blindfolded on the floor to your feet to the knife, etc. I guess it would be pretty damn tough to do stealth while blindfolded but I'm just spitballing. I don't know anything about developing games just throwing out ideas. Anyway- i'm excited to see what you keep making. keep up the good work!

Thank you for the information on being stuck in the door. It is really unpleasant when this happens. When I tested the game, I had no such problem. Sometimes the door prevented the character from moving forward, but in this case it is enough just to jump backwards or sideways.

only suggestion i have is to add some sort of enemy that can grab and drag the player somewhere/ make the bondage stricter. something like that.

Thank you for the information on being stuck in the door. It is really unpleasant when this happens. When I tested the game, I had no such problem. Sometimes the door prevented the character from moving forward, but in this case it is enough just to jump backwards or sideways.
Interesting game. It gets pretty hard when you get to no hints at all.
